After a year of hard work, Pathways has become a reality! We are proud to introduce our first issue! Take a look and enjoy the scholarship of students from the universities of Saskatchewan, Toronto, and Alberta.
We are pleased to announce that on Friday, October 2, we will be releasing our inaugural issue of Pathways, the brand new archaeology and anthropology graduate student journal. The authors, faculty advisors, and editorial board have put in tireless effort and hard work over the past several months to make this first issue a great one that spans topics across our discipline. We can’t wait to share it with you! Be sure to check out www.pathwaysgraduatejournal.ca on Oct. 2.
We are also excited to announce that ARCHAIA is hosting a start of term/Pathways launch party on October 2 from 6-8 pm SK time and would like to invite any interested department members. To attend, click on the following Gather link (https://gather.town/app/UxHepCw7H9jC5otn/PathwaysLaunch) and simply enter your name. Gather is a videoconferencing platform that is often used for online conferences that will allow us to “mingle” virtually in a much more casual way. This will be more than just a launch party--it will also just be a great way to connect with others in the department (since socializing has been so stagnated this year). Feel free to stop by, even if just for a few minutes!
Hope to see you next Friday!

Thank you to all of those who have submitted thus far to be in our first issue! We have decided to extend our call for submissions until Friday, May 1, 2020 to allow a little extra time for those finishing up their coursework. We look forward to promoting all the great work being done within our discipline by up-and-coming scholars such as yourselves.
Welcome to the launch of our Pathways website! Do you have a class paper you are especially proud of? Are you working on something that you would like to share with your peers? Submit your work to be a part of the inaugural issue. The call for submissions will be opened imminently.
